Stylish Corporate Girlie & College Professor

There’s something about being a corporate girlie by day and a college professor by night that perfectly blends ambition, style, and purpose.

My days are filled with meetings, emails, projects, deadlines, and everything that comes with navigating the professional world.

Then, when the workday is winding down for most people, I’m switching gears and stepping into the classroom. It’s busy. It’s demanding. And I absolutely love it.

The Duality of the Corporate Girlie

Being a corporate girlie isn't just about the clothes, although I will always appreciate a good blazer and a polished outfit.

It’s about the mindset.

It’s being intentional about your career, setting goals, knowing your value, and showing up prepared. It’s building a life that allows you to pursue multiple passions instead of feeling like you have to fit yourself into one box.

And for me, that includes education.

Teaching at the college level allows me to take everything I’ve learned professionally and bring it into the classroom. It’s one thing to learn concepts from a textbook, but it’s another to connect those concepts to real-world experiences.

From Office to Classroom

One minute, I’m in my professional world handling business, and the next, I’m preparing to teach a class.

The transition can be quick.

Sometimes it’s changing from one pair of shoes to another. Sometimes it’s grabbing dinner between responsibilities. And sometimes it’s simply taking a moment to mentally switch from corporate mode to professor mode.

But there’s something incredibly rewarding about it.

I get to experience both sides of professional life—the corporate environment and the academic environment—and each one challenges me in completely different ways.

And Yes, The Outfits Matter

Let’s talk about the fashion.

Because if I’m going to balance corporate life and teaching, I want my wardrobe to keep up.

My style is all about polished pieces that can transition from one environment to another.

Think tailored trousers, blazers, dresses, coordinated sets, chic flats, heels, statement accessories, and structured bags.

The goal is simple:

Look like the professional you are while still looking like yourself.

I don't want a wardrobe that only works for the office or only works in the classroom. I want pieces that can move with me throughout the day.

More Than a Job

What I love most about this dual role is that it represents something bigger.

You don't have to choose just one version of yourself.

You can be ambitious and creative.

You can be career-driven and passionate about education.

You can build a professional career while pouring into the next generation.

You can sit in a corporate meeting in the afternoon and stand in front of a college classroom that evening.

And yes—you can look good doing both.

A life where career, education, fashion, purpose, and personal growth can exist together.

Because success doesn't have to look one particular way.

Sometimes it looks like lecture notes, a classroom, and students in the evening.

And sometimes it looks like doing both in the same day.
