Grad Glam: Graduation Season Style

Graduation season always hits differently when you're not only celebrating students’ hard work—but your own as an educator too. This semester, a few of my students from our local College crossed that stage, and I couldn’t be prouder. To honor their accomplishments (and make a stylish statement), I pulled together a chic, celebratory look that balanced sophistication, boldness, and just the right amount of sparkle.

The Outfit: Sleek, Structured, and Statement-Making

I went with a classy-meets-modern two-piece vest and pants set that offered a fresh contrast and lengthened my frame. The set that looked as powerful as it felt.

For bag chose a black clutch— well actually it’s a Bobby Brown Cosmetics package styled as a bag. It is simple, and timeless.

The Shoe Moment: Zebra Print

Now let’s talk shoes—because this was my favorite part! I added an unexpected pop with zebra print heels featuring a slightly bent heel, giving the look an edgy yet polished finish. These beauties are from Macy’s, and I proudly featured them through my Macy’s Style Crew affiliation.

Accessories: Minimal with a Hint of Sophistication

I kept jewelry intentional and elegant, opting for pearl earrings , a matching bracelet, a fashion ring, and of course my wedding ring set. The details complemented the monochrome look. I opted out of wearing a necklace because I did not want to take the attention off the neckline and collar of my top. The jewelry choice gave just enough without taking over.
