A Magical Wedding Experience in Portland, Jamaica

There's something truly magical about attending a wedding in the country you were born in. This time, the magic was even more personal. I had the incredible honor of being a guest and the glam artist for the bride at a stunning destination wedding in Portland, Jamaica.

The Wardrobe: Elegant Caribbean Glam

For this special occasion, I chose a sky-blue one-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit. The color mirrored the Caribbean skies, and the silhouette struck the perfect balance between sexy and sophisticated. The flow of the fabric caught every breeze, giving that effortless elegance you want when you're surrounded by tropical beauty.

Accessories That Sparkle

I styled the look with a pearl-embellished round clutch and butterfly-accented heels that added a soft, whimsical touch. I also wore dainty jewelry—simple enough not to compete with the dress, but sparkly enough to catch the sunset light.

Hair, Makeup & Nails: Full Island Glam

My makeup was soft glam with a radiant finish—glowy skin, bronzed cheeks, and a glossy nude lip. My hair was styled in voluminous waves cascading to one side for that timeless romantic feel. My nails were clean and classic—just the right touch to complete a look that felt polished but still relaxed enough for the island vibes.

And here's the cherry on top: I had the pleasure of doing the bride’s makeup. Helping her look and feel her best on her special day was an absolute joy. It made the entire experience even more meaningful.

What I Loved Most

This wasn’t just a style moment—it was a full-circle one. Coming back to Jamaica, standing in the heart of Portland, and celebrating love surrounded by nature, culture, and family felt like pure alignment. Style is so much more than what you wear—it's about how you feel in the moment. And this moment? It felt like home.
